Transformational Conversations

Transformational Conversations. Meaningful Conversations. Cool Conversations. Uncommon Conversations.

Transformation occurs whenever we have an insight – see something differently – an ah ah moment.  We have all experienced it somewhere – so we know it when it happens.  And we know that once we see something differently we can always see it differently – we can’t not do.

Can you see the man in the coffee beans?  Once you do – you can never not see him straight away….

Meaningful conversations about the nature of the human experience.

We are all the same thinking beings.  We experience our thinking through our senses and call it reality.  We think our reality is more real than other people’s reality.  When we talk about this as a human condition it becomes less personal somehow.  We can recognise our connectedness in that we all think, and then feel those thoughts – and we can understand how we perceive our own personal experience as the real way of the world in that moment.  And we notice it changes in the next moment.

Commonly we feel a feeling and look around for an outside circumstance that caused it.  Something or someone to blame for our bad feelings.  Something or someone to credit for our good feelings.  So many books are written to help us change those circumstances!

A deeper understanding of the nature of the human experience allows us to see how our inside thoughts (about those external circumstances) actually create all those feelings and experiences – good and bad.  So many books are written to help us change those inside thoughts!

An even deeper understanding of the nature of the human experience allows us to see that we couldn’t change our thoughts if our life depended on it.  They come and they go – along with the feelings and experiences they create.  Not so many books are written about that.

Once we have this deeper understanding there is nothing to do and nothing to fix.  We don’t have to change our circumstances, our relationships, our jobs, our thoughts, or anything else in order to feel and experience our lives differently.  We may do that anyway but from a whole different place.  A place of clarity and compassion – for ourselves, for others, for our world.

Entering into a meaningful conversation allows – or rather ensures an ever deepening understanding.  An even deeper freedom – beyond the desire to control what we would otherwise perceive to be chaos.

Just like the man in the coffee beans – once we see ourselves and the world within that human experience differently, we can never not see it.
